The hitlchat Story

Once upon a time we owned an eCommerce shopify store. We implemented an AI WhatsApp chatbot in Botpress to be able to handle online customer enquiries in order to make sales while we slept. This worked well! However, there was one small problem..

Whenever a customer had a complex enquiry that the chatbot couldn't resolve, we had no way to intercept the bot's conversations and chat directly to our customer.

And so, hitlchat was born. A human hand-off (ie. HITL) solution that allowed us to intercept the bot's conversations when ever we needed to.

Shortly after, we added support for Voiceflow chatbots too due to popular demand.

Since then, hitlchat has evolved into a simple to use, fully featured WhatsApp Business marketing tool, while still continuing to harness the power of two of the leading AI chatbot platforms on the planet, Botpress and Voiceflow.
